  • SSC705.com - IIC-Testing

    IIC-Testing

Impact Insulation Class (IIC) is a rating commonly used to evaluate a floor/ceiling partitions ability to resist structure-borne impact sound transfer (i.e., walking, shuffling).

The resulting sound levels are measured in the room directly below. Measurements are also taken to determine the ambient sound (in the receiver room) and reverberation times along the room geometry. The combination of this data is then used to determine the AIIC rating of the test section.

  • SSC705.com - RF-Testing

    RF-Testing

Outsourcing Radio Frequency Shielding Effectiveness (SE) Testing is a cost-effective way to prepare your facility for accreditation and choosing the right security professionals is key to receiving accurate test results and applicable insights for effectively securing your facility.

Whether you need to test shielding effectiveness for a door, a single room or an entire facility, we can customize our RF SE Testing services to meet your specific needs.

  • SSC705.com - STC-Testing

    STC-Testing

The Sound Transmission Class (STC) is a single-number rating of the sound isolation of a wall or floor-ceiling assembly. The higher the STC, the better the partition is at reducing sound transmission between spaces. Wall types should be selected carefully to provide the appropriate STC rating, but sometimes the field performance is less than expected. To quantify the sound isolation of an assembly in an existing building, Apparent Sound Transmission Class (ASTC) tests are performed.
